Governors and trustees are invited to attend a free briefing on the Families First reforms on Wednesday 25 March 2026, 6:00 7:00pm via MS Teams.
From April 2026, Cheshire East, alongside all other areas in the Country, will be implementing the Families First reforms.
The Families First programme has been designed to strengthen the support available for children and families through more joined-up, relationship-based working.
The programme places prevention, early help, and children’s voices at the heart of everything they do.
Led by Kerry Madden, Families First Programme Director, the session will provide school governors/trustees with an outline of the programme and the Cheshire East partnership’s plans to deliver the reforms.
