Cheshire East Governance Training – Finance for Maintained Schools
GOVERNANCE TRAINING: Places are available on our ‘Finance for Maintained Schools’ training for governors on Tuesday 19 May 2026, 6:30 –8:30pm, via MS Teams. Ahead of approving your school’s budget for 2026/27, this session will assist in developing your understanding of the major aspects of financial management in schools. This will include how funding is delivered and distributed to schools and will explore governors’ roles and responsibilities in relation to school finance.

Cheshire East Smartphone Webinar FREE
Please register for a practical webinar with Generation Focus where you’ll hear from teachers who’ve banned phones completely at their schools, adopting “brick-phone only” policies. They’ll talk about why they did it, the challenges they overcame and the extraordinary impact they’ve seen.

Cheshire East Admissions Drop-In
Admissions would like to offer schools the opportunity to meet virtually with the School Admissions team before Primary Offer Day (16 April 2026). They will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the key messages for parents and the next stage of the process. The session is aimed at Admissions Officers, Headteachers, Senior Leaders, Administrators/Bursars and Nurseries/Pre Schools who will be in contact with parents and take part in the admissions process for round applications. The session will be open from 2:00pm till 2.30pm Tuesday 14 April 2026. Register for the event here.
