Cheshire East Assessment & Data Training for Governors
Places are available on our ‘Understanding Assessment and Data’ training for governors on Tuesday 02 June 2026, 6:00pm – 8:00pm via Zoom.
‘An effective governing body holds its school leadership to account for improving pupil and staff performance by asking the right questions, informed by data.’ DfE Governance Guide
This session will provide governors/trustees with an understanding of how pupils are assessed in each key stage, from Early Years to Key Stage 2, whilst aiming to clarify what boards should know about assessment and how they can develop that knowledge whilst remaining strategic, regardless of educational experience.
Please consider whether this training would be valuable for members of your board to attend.
For further details, or to book your place, please go to the ‘Training’ tab in GovernorHub or email schoolgovernance@cheshireeast.gov.uk
This course is free to schools and academies that have purchased CPD Training and Development for Governors via ChESS Hub.
