Schools must publish their Inclusion Strategies by 31 December 2026 for the academic year 2026 to 2027. This requirement is a condition of the Inclusive Mainstream Fund and
applies to all maintained schools, academies, free schools, and city technology colleges that receive the fund. The strategy must cover the barriers to learning and participation
faced by the school’s cohort, the activities being invested in to alleviate those barriers, the expected outcomes, and the costs associated with the activities. The strategy should
be updated annually thereafter.
