DESCRIPTION:Places are available on our ‘Complaints: A Governor’s Gu
 ide’ on Wednesday 17 June 2026\, 6:00pm – 8:00pm via MS Teams.\nIn r
 ecent years\, many schools have experienced a significant rise in the nu
 mber and the complexity of complaints received. Whilst handling complain
 ts can be challenging\, mishandling them can potentially cause even more
  difficulty and stress.\nTherefore\, this session will consider how gove
 rnors should be involved in dealing with complaints\, including the lega
 l framework\, the school’s complaints procedure and best practice arou
 nd how complaint panels should be conducted.\nThe training will be deliv
 ered by our School Governance &amp\; Liaison team\, including the Senior
  Officer responsible for responding to Ofsted complaints on behalf of th
 e local authority\, and a Senior Clerk with experience of investigating 
 school complaints and arranging governor complaint panels.\nPlease consi
 der whether this training would be valuable for members of your board to
