DESCRIPTION:Our 2026 annual governors’ conference will be held on the 
 morning of Friday 16 October 2026 at Cranage Hall\, Holmes Chapel.\nThe 
 School Governance &amp\; Liaison Service has recently received a financi
 al donation from the former Cheshire East Association of Governing Board
 s (CEAGB) towards the cost of future school governor events.\nTherefore\
 , this autumn we will be offering at least one free governor/trustee pla
 ce per school/academy at our conference.\nWe would like to sincerely tha
 nk the CEAGB for this generous contribution\, which we pledge to use in 
 supporting the continuous professional development of school governors w
